Nedra has worked in animal rescue for the past 11 years. She became a Reiki Master in 2008 and started her journey towards becoming a small animal acupressure practitioner in April of 2010. During her case studies, she worked on several animals and all of the owners and the animals saw definitive improvements after the sessions. So that was very reaffirming. She believes Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM] is a life long practice and is looking forward to the journey.

Her credentials include June 2011 -NBCAAM certification, February 2011 - Animal Acupressure Certification, January 2008 - Reiki Master, March 2008 - Angel Reiki Certification, and July 2007 - Essential oils training.

Graduated from: Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute

Dara does not have a business at this time, but works for an animal emergency hospital. Dara is a licensed veterinary technician and has been working in the ER for 10 years. She became interested in alternative medicine and pursued her practitioner certificate in animal physical rehabilitation and also went on to learn canine sports massage at which time she became interested in acupressure. In addition Dara has level 1 Reiki certification.

Dara utilizes what she has learned in all these areas when caring for her physical rehab patients. Each patient benefits differently with certain modalities. She has learned best from the dogs she works on, they will tell you what works best for them. Of course her own dogs at home enjoy the acupressure and Reiki sessions she performs on them. She has seen great results from acupressure and hopes to learn as much as she can about Chinese medicine.

Graduated from: Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in 2008.

When Gail's beloved dog Sampson, a Chow/Retriever mix, could no longer use his hind legs, she knew there were other healing modalities but she was not trained. After a few days, she had to say goodbye and it was the hardest thing ever because his spirit was still there. He was 14 years old. A couple of months after that, Gail enrolled in a Canine Acupressure class that Tallgrass was offering and a year later graduated. Now she is helping older dogs with similar issues feel better. It is her way of giving back and helping other owners become aware of complimentary care for their pets. That's all Gail wants to do-help animals feel better and educate their owners on the healing methods of acupressure.

Gail has 2 mutts, Mary and Rudi-the most beautiful dog on the planet and the cutest dog on the planet. They are her babies and she may as well have given birth to them herself! They were rescued from the local shelter and have been blessings ever since.

Collene Gaolach
Northwest Animal Holistic Health
Seattle, WA

Email:
colleneg@nwahh.com
Web Site: www.nwahh.com

Collene works with small animals at Northwest Animal Holistic Health, as well as through volunteer work with local Seattle animal rescue groups. Her special interest is assisting senior dogs to make the best of their golden years. She enjoys getting to know each new dog as an individual and seeks to understand the totality of that individual’s health needs.

Collene’s official qualifications include over 1000 hours of training to obtain a Veterinary Assistant certification through Pima Medical Institute, a Small Animal Massage Practitioner certification through the Northwest School of Animal Massage, and a Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner certification through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. She has also been board certified in both Canine Massage and Canine Acupressure by the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure & Massage.

However, Collene has learned the most from those who don’t give out educational credits or certifications: her canine patients. Certainly there is no better reward for her efforts than seeing each happy dog reach his/her optimum health - although a nice cheek lick is a close second.

Graduated from: Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in 2010.

Brenda is a certified Small Animal practitioner with accreditation from Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute. Her initial interest in a cooperative approach to canine wellness grew out of the desire to help her dog Guinness battle a poor immune system rocked by over-vaccination and to keep her senior dog Maddy as healthy as possible for as long as possible. In early 2009, she began her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine as it relates to animals. Since then, she has set up her practice to include acupressure, essential oils, nutrition information, as well as end-of-life comfort care.

Brenda offers her services throughout Dodge County, Wisconsin. Sessions are held in the convenience of your home, Modern Dog harmony room, Animal Clinic of Beaver Dam, your veterinarian’s office, or a stress free environment of your choosing. She also offers educational workshops and free demonstrations to groups of any size.

Brenda is also a graduate of Blue Sky Massage (animal massage), Spirits in Transition (animal hospice), and Marian University (grief and bereavement).
